Staffordshire Wado Ryu karate was founded by Sensei Tony Harvey in 1998 and is a member of the English Wado Federation

The Martial Art
The art taught is a Japanese style of Karate known as Wado Ryu, the English translation being way of peace school.

Age Group
Students are taken from the age of 5 years.

Clothing Worn
A karate suit (Gi) will be required before grading but loose clothing will be suitable for the first few weeks.

Insurance
Instructor indemnity of £500,000 cover.

Wado Ryu was registered as a system by Sensei Hirinori Otsuka in 1934
